- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 1 teaspoon salt, or to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper, or to taste
- 1 pound pasta (penne, rotini, or your favorite shape)
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season chicken with salt and pepper.
- Add chicken to the skillet and cook until browned on all sides and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.
- Add pasta to the skillet. Pour in chicken broth and bring to a simmer. Cook pasta according to package directions, stirring occasionally, until al dente.
- Stir in minced garlic, heavy cream, and Parmesan cheese. Cook until sauce has thickened slightly, about 2-3 minutes.
- Return chicken to the skillet. Stir to combine.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.

- For a spicier dish, add a pinch of red pepper flakes.
- You can substitute chicken thighs for chicken breasts.
