Description

Indulge in a restaurant-quality meal at home with these tender Steak Tips in Creamy Garlic Sauce. This recipe combines perfectly seared steak tips with a rich, flavorful sauce, making it a guaranteed crowd-pleaser.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1.5 lbs beef sirloin steak tips
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup beef broth
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp dried Italian seasoning
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Season steak tips generously with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Sear steak tips in the hot skillet for 3-4 minutes per side, or until browned and cooked to your desired doneness (medium-rare is recommended). Remove from skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook for about 30 seconds, until fragrant.
  5. Pour in beef broth and heavy cream. Bring to a simmer, stirring occasionally.
  6. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce thickens slightly.
  7. Return the steak tips to the skillet and toss to coat in the creamy garlic sauce.
  8. Simmer for 1-2 minutes to heat through.
  9. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

  • For a spicier kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the sauce.
  • Serve with your favorite sides, such as mashed potatoes, pasta, or roasted vegetables.
  • Adjust cooking time based on the thickness of your steak tips and desired doneness.
  • Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
