Ingredients
Scale
- 1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp onion powder
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken breasts for 2-3 minutes per side, until lightly browned. Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.
- Add minced garlic to the skillet and cook for about 30 seconds, until fragrant.
- Pour in heavy cream and milk. Whisk in Parmesan cheese, butter, garlic powder, and onion powder. Bring to a simmer.
- Return chicken breasts to the skillet, nestling them into the sauce.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through and the sauce has thickened.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve.
Notes
- For a spicier dish, add a pinch of red pepper flakes.
- Serve with your favorite side dishes, such as steamed broccoli or a side salad.
- If the sauce thickens too much during baking, add a splash more milk.
