Ingredients
Scale
- 6–8 boneless, skinless chicken thighs
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce (low sodium preferred)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- Optional: 1 tablespoon chopped fresh thyme or rosemary
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a small bowl, whisk together the maple syrup, soy sauce, olive oil, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, and black pepper. If using, add the fresh herbs.
- Place the chicken thighs in a baking dish.
- Pour the maple glaze over the chicken thighs, ensuring they are evenly coated.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken thighs are cooked through and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). Baste the chicken with the glaze in the baking dish halfway through cooking.
- If desired, broil for the last 1-2 minutes to caramelize the glaze further (watch closely to prevent burning).
- Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- For a deeper flavor, marinate the chicken in the glaze for at least 30 minutes before baking (or even overnight in the refrigerator).
- Serve with your favorite sides, such as roasted vegetables, rice, or a fresh salad.
- Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
