Description

These Maple Glazed Chicken Thighs are a simple, delicious, and crowd-pleasing dish perfect for a weeknight meal. The combination of sweet maple syrup and savory soy sauce creates a flavorful glaze that coats the tender chicken thighs beautifully. This recipe is easy to customize with your favorite herbs and spices!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 68 boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce (low sodium preferred)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Optional: 1 tablespoon chopped fresh thyme or rosemary

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the maple syrup, soy sauce, olive oil, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, and black pepper. If using, add the fresh herbs.
  3. Place the chicken thighs in a baking dish.
  4. Pour the maple glaze over the chicken thighs, ensuring they are evenly coated.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken thighs are cooked through and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). Baste the chicken with the glaze in the baking dish halfway through cooking.
  6. If desired, broil for the last 1-2 minutes to caramelize the glaze further (watch closely to prevent burning).
  7. Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For a deeper flavor, marinate the chicken in the glaze for at least 30 minutes before baking (or even overnight in the refrigerator).
  • Serve with your favorite sides, such as roasted vegetables, rice, or a fresh salad.
  • Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
