Description

These Honey Mustard Chicken Sliders are a crowd-pleasing appetizer or easy weeknight meal! Juicy chicken is coated in a sweet and tangy honey mustard sauce and served on soft slider buns.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons yellow mustard
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 12 slider buns
  • Lettuce leaves (optional)
  • Tomato slices (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together the honey, Dijon mustard, yellow mustard, olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Add the chicken pieces to the bowl and toss to coat evenly.
  3. Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken and cook, stirring occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and slightly browned, about 8-10 minutes.
  4. While the chicken is cooking, prepare the slider buns.
  5. If using, add lettuce and tomato to the slider buns.
  6. Spoon the honey mustard chicken onto the slider buns and serve immediately.

Notes

  • For a spicier flavor, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the honey mustard sauce.
  • You can also bake the chicken in the oven at 375°F (190°C) for 20-25 minutes.
  • Leftover chicken can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
