  • 1/4 cup honey

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons cold water
  • Sesame seeds and chopped green onions, for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, apple cider vinegar, minced garlic, ground ginger, and red pepper flakes (if using).
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together cornstarch and cold water to create a slurry.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  4. Add the chicken pieces to the skillet and cook until browned on all sides, about 5-7 minutes.
  5. Pour the honey garlic sauce over the chicken and cook, stirring frequently, for about 2-3 minutes, until the sauce starts to thicken.
  6. Add the cornstarch slurry and cook, stirring constantly, until the sauce thickens to a glaze, about 1 minute.
  7. Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions.
  8. Serve hot over rice or your favorite side dishes.
