- 8 ounces dried noodles (spaghetti, linguine, or your favorite)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- 2 green onions, thinly sliced, for garnish
- Sesame seeds, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Cook noodles according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
- While the noodles are cooking, heat olive oil in a large skillet or wok over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and cook for about 30 seconds, until fragrant. Be careful not to burn the garlic.
- In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes (if using).
- Pour the sauce into the skillet and bring to a simmer. Cook for 1-2 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce slightly thickens.
- Add the cooked noodles to the skillet and toss to coat with the sauce. Cook for another 1-2 minutes, until the noodles are heated through and evenly coated.
- Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds (if using).
- Serve immediately and enjoy!

- For a spicier kick, add more red pepper flakes.
- Feel free to add cooked protein like chicken, shrimp, or tofu for a more substantial meal.
- Vegetables like broccoli, snap peas, or carrots can also be added during the last few minutes of cooking.
