Description
Crispy and flavorful Air Fryer Garlic Parmesan Chicken Wings are a quick and easy appetizer or main course. These wings are coated in a delicious garlic parmesan mixture and cooked to perfection in your air fryer for a healthier alternative to deep frying.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 lbs chicken wings, separated into drumettes and flats
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, toss the chicken wings with olive oil, minced garlic, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
- Place the wings in the air fryer basket in a single layer, being careful not to overcrowd. You may need to cook in batches.
- Cook for 12-15 minutes, then flip the wings and cook for another 12-15 minutes, or until the wings are cooked through and crispy. Internal temperature should reach 165°F (74°C).
- Garnish with fresh parsley (optional) and serve immediately.
Notes
- For extra crispy wings, pat the wings dry with paper towels before tossing with the seasoning.
- If your air fryer tends to smoke, you can add a tablespoon of water to the bottom of the air fryer basket.
- Adjust cooking time based on your air fryer model and the size of the wings.
- For a spicier kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the garlic parmesan mixture.
- Serve with your favorite dipping sauce, such as ranch, blue cheese, or marinara.
