These Air Fryer Crispy Chicken Tenders are a quick and easy meal that the whole family will love! They’re perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, and ready in under 20 minutes.

- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch strips
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- In a shallow dish, combine the flour, salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and onion powder.
- In a second shallow dish, beat the eggs.
- In a third shallow dish, place the panko breadcrumbs.
- Dip each chicken strip in the flour mixture, then the egg, and finally the panko breadcrumbs, making sure to coat it evenly.
- Place the coated chicken tenders in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Do not overcrowd. You may need to cook in batches.
- Spray the chicken tenders lightly with cooking spray.
- Air fry for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through, or until the chicken is cooked through and golden brown. The internal temperature should reach 165°F (74°C).
- Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
- For extra crispy chicken tenders, you can double-dip them in the egg and breadcrumbs.
- You can use other seasonings to customize the flavor of your chicken tenders. Try adding cayenne pepper for a little heat or Italian seasoning for a more savory flavor.
- Store leftover chicken tenders in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the air fryer for best results.
