Description

These Air Fryer Crispy Chicken Tenders are a quick and easy meal that the whole family will love! They’re perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, and ready in under 20 minutes.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch strips
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a shallow dish, combine the flour, salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and onion powder.
  3. In a second shallow dish, beat the eggs.
  4. In a third shallow dish, place the panko breadcrumbs.
  5. Dip each chicken strip in the flour mixture, then the egg, and finally the panko breadcrumbs, making sure to coat it evenly.
  6. Place the coated chicken tenders in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Do not overcrowd. You may need to cook in batches.
  7. Spray the chicken tenders lightly with cooking spray.
  8. Air fry for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through, or until the chicken is cooked through and golden brown. The internal temperature should reach 165°F (74°C).
  9. Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

  • For extra crispy chicken tenders, you can double-dip them in the egg and breadcrumbs.
