Description

These air fryer cheeseburger patties are juicy, flavorful, and ready in minutes! A quick and easy way to enjoy a classic burger without firing up the grill.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef (80/20 blend recommended)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese (or your favorite cheese)
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • Optional toppings: lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, gently combine ground beef, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Avoid overmixing.
  2. Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and form into patties, about 3/4 inch thick. Make a slight indentation in the center of each patty to prevent them from puffing up during cooking.
  3. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  4. Place the patties in the air fryer basket, ensuring they are not overcrowded. You may need to cook them in batches.
  5. Cook for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C) for medium doneness.
  6. In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheese on top of each patty and continue cooking until the cheese is melted.
  7. Remove the cheeseburger patties from the air fryer and place them on hamburger buns.
  8. Add your favorite toppings and serve immediately.

  • For best results, use ground beef with a higher fat content (80/20) to ensure juicy patties.
  • Cooking times may vary depending on your air fryer. Adjust accordingly.
  • If you don’t have onion powder, you can substitute with 1 tablespoon of finely chopped onion.
