Description
These air fryer cheeseburger patties are juicy, flavorful, and ready in minutes! A quick and easy way to enjoy a classic burger without firing up the grill.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound ground beef (80/20 blend recommended)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- 4 slices cheddar cheese (or your favorite cheese)
- 4 hamburger buns
- Optional toppings: lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise
Instructions
- In a large bowl, gently combine ground beef, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Avoid overmixing.
- Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and form into patties, about 3/4 inch thick. Make a slight indentation in the center of each patty to prevent them from puffing up during cooking.
- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Place the patties in the air fryer basket, ensuring they are not overcrowded. You may need to cook them in batches.
- Cook for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C) for medium doneness.
- In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheese on top of each patty and continue cooking until the cheese is melted.
- Remove the cheeseburger patties from the air fryer and place them on hamburger buns.
- Add your favorite toppings and serve immediately.
Notes
- For best results, use ground beef with a higher fat content (80/20) to ensure juicy patties.
- Cooking times may vary depending on your air fryer. Adjust accordingly.
- If you don’t have onion powder, you can substitute with 1 tablespoon of finely chopped onion.
- To prevent sticking, you can lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking oil.
