Description

These soy-glazed chicken thighs are incredibly flavorful, easy to make, and perfect for a weeknight dinner. The simple glaze caramelizes beautifully, creating a delicious, sticky coating.


Ingredients

  • 68 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Sesame seeds and chopped green onions, for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, minced garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes (if using).
  2. Place the chicken thighs in a shallow dish and pour the soy glaze over them, ensuring they are well coated. Marinate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours in the refrigerator.
  3. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  4. Place the marinated chicken thighs, skin-side up, on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Bake for 35-45 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the skin is golden brown and crispy. Baste the chicken with the glaze from the baking sheet halfway through cooking.
  6. Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions before serving.
