Description

These adorable Reindeer Brownie Bites are a fun and festive treat perfect for the holiday season! Made with fudgy brownie bites, pretzel antlers, candy eyes, and a cute red candy nose, they’re sure to bring a smile to everyone’s face. They’re easy to make and a wonderful activity to do with kids.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 box (18.3 oz) brownie mix, plus ingredients called for on box
  • 24 small pretzel twists, broken in half (for antlers)
  • 48 candy eyes
  • 24 small red candies (such as M&M’s or red sprinkles for the nose)
  • 1/2 cup chocolate frosting (store-bought or homemade)

Instructions

  1. Prepare brownie mix according to package directions. Pour into a greased 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. Bake as directed on the box, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with moist crumbs.
  3. Let the brownies cool completely in the pan.
  4. Once cooled, cut the brownies into 24 even squares or use a small round cookie cutter to make circles.
  5. Spread a thin layer of chocolate frosting on top of each brownie bite.
  6. For each reindeer, press two pretzel halves into the top of the brownie for antlers.
  7. Place two candy eyes below the antlers.
  8. Place one red candy in the center below the eyes for the nose.
  9. Arrange on a platter and serve immediately, or store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.

Notes

  • For extra sparkle, you can lightly dust the finished reindeer with edible glitter.
  • If you prefer, you can use a piping bag with a small round tip to create the red nose with frosting tinted red.
  • These make a great edible gift for friends and neighbors during the holidays!
