- 12 oz pasta of choice (penne, fettuccine, or spaghetti recommended)
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- While the pasta cooks, heat olive oil in a large skillet or Dutch oven over medium-high heat. Add the sliced chicken breasts and season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and oregano. Cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
- Add butter to the same skillet. Once melted, add the diced onion and cook until softened, about 3-4 minutes. Add the minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.
