Ingredients
Scale
- 6–8 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a small bowl, whisk together maple syrup, Dijon mustard, olive oil, apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Place chicken thighs in a baking dish.
- Pour the maple mustard glaze over the chicken, ensuring each thigh is well coated.
- Bake for 35-45 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the skin is golden brown and crispy (internal temperature of 165°F / 74°C). Baste the chicken with the glaze during the last 15 minutes of cooking.
- Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- For extra crispy skin, broil the chicken for the last 2-3 minutes, watching closely to prevent burning.
- Serve with your favorite sides, such as roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, or a simple salad.
- Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
