Description

These Maple Mustard Chicken Thighs are a delicious and easy weeknight meal. The sweet and tangy glaze caramelizes beautifully, creating tender and flavorful chicken.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 68 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together maple syrup, Dijon mustard, olive oil, apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Place chicken thighs in a baking dish.
  4. Pour the maple mustard glaze over the chicken, ensuring each thigh is well coated.
  5. Bake for 35-45 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the skin is golden brown and crispy (internal temperature of 165°F / 74°C). Baste the chicken with the glaze during the last 15 minutes of cooking.
  6. Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For extra crispy skin, broil the chicken for the last 2-3 minutes, watching closely to prevent burning.
  • Serve with your favorite sides, such as roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, or a simple salad.
  • Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
