Description

These Maple Dijon Chicken Thighs are a delicious and easy weeknight meal! The combination of sweet maple syrup, tangy Dijon mustard, and savory chicken creates a flavorful and satisfying dish.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 68 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together maple syrup, Dijon mustard, olive oil, thyme, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Place chicken thighs in a baking dish.
  4. Pour the maple Dijon mixture over the chicken thighs, ensuring they are well coated.
  5. Bake for 35-45 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the skin is golden brown and crispy. The internal temperature of the chicken should reach 165°F (74°C).
  6. Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For extra crispy skin, broil the chicken for the last 2-3 minutes of cooking, watching closely to prevent burning.
  • Serve with your favorite sides, such as roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, or a fresh salad.
  • You can substitute chicken breasts for thighs, but adjust the cooking time accordingly.
