Ingredients
Scale
- 6–8 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a small bowl, whisk together maple syrup, Dijon mustard, olive oil, thyme, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Place chicken thighs in a baking dish.
- Pour the maple Dijon mixture over the chicken thighs, ensuring they are well coated.
- Bake for 35-45 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the skin is golden brown and crispy. The internal temperature of the chicken should reach 165°F (74°C).
- Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- For extra crispy skin, broil the chicken for the last 2-3 minutes of cooking, watching closely to prevent burning.
- Serve with your favorite sides, such as roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, or a fresh salad.
- You can substitute chicken breasts for thighs, but adjust the cooking time accordingly.
