- 6–8 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup sriracha sauce (adjust to taste)
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: sesame seeds and chopped green onions for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, sriracha, soy sauce, rice vinegar, minced garlic, and grated ginger.
- Season the chicken thighs generously with salt and pepper.
- Heat the olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.
- Sear the chicken thighs skin-side down for 5-7 minutes, until the skin is golden brown and crispy.
- Flip the chicken thighs and pour the honey sriracha glaze over them.
- Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). The glaze should be thick and sticky.
- Remove from the oven and let rest for a few minutes.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions, if desired. Serve immediately.
Notes
- For extra crispy skin, broil the chicken for the last 1-2 minutes, watching carefully to prevent burning.
- Adjust the amount of sriracha to your preferred level of spiciness.
- Serve with rice, noodles, or your favorite sides to soak up the delicious sauce.
