Ingredients
Scale
- 6–8 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
- 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a small bowl, whisk together balsamic vinegar, honey, olive oil, minced garlic, thyme, salt, and pepper.
- Place chicken thighs in a baking dish.
- Pour the honey balsamic mixture over the chicken thighs, ensuring they are evenly coated.
- Bake for 35-45 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the skin is golden brown and crispy. Internal temperature should reach 165°F (74°C).
- Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in the honey balsamic mixture for at least 30 minutes before baking.
- If the chicken skin isn’t browning enough, you can broil it for the last few minutes of cooking, keeping a close eye to prevent burning.
- Serve with your favorite sides, such as roasted vegetables or rice.
