- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 (10.75 oz) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 (14.5 oz) can sliced potatoes, drained
- 1 (15.25 oz) can whole kernel corn, drained
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- In a large skillet, brown the ground beef with the chopped onion over medium heat. Drain off any excess fat.
- Stir in the condensed cream of mushroom soup, milk, garlic powder, and black pepper. Mix well.
- Gently fold in the drained sliced potatoes and whole kernel corn.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish.
- Bake for 20 minutes.
- Remove from oven, sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese, and return to the oven for another 5-10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Let stand for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, you can add a dash of Worcestershire sauce to the ground beef mixture.
- Feel free to substitute other vegetables like peas or green beans for the corn.
