- 1 pound sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 8 ounces fresh cheese tortellini
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Season the steak cubes with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the steak cubes until browned on all sides, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.
- Cook the tortellini according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
- Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce thickens slightly.
- Add the cooked tortellini and steak to the sauce and toss to combine.
- Stir in the parsley. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
Notes
- For a spicier dish, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the sauce.
- You can substitute the sirloin steak with other cuts, such as ribeye or New York strip.
- If you don’t have fresh tortellini, you can use frozen tortellini, but adjust the cooking time accordingly.
