A festive and delicious appetizer perfect for Christmas! This Brie and Cranberry Christmas Wreath is easy to make and always a crowd-pleaser.

- 1 sheet (14.1 oz) frozen puff pastry, thawed
- 8 oz Brie cheese, rind on
- 1/2 cup cranberry sauce (homemade or store-bought)
- 1/4 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
- 1 large egg, beaten
- Fresh rosemary sprigs, for garnish
- Crackers or baguette slices, for serving
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- On a lightly floured surface, roll out the puff pastry slightly.
- Place the Brie cheese in the center of the puff pastry.
- Spread the cranberry sauce over the Brie.
- Sprinkle the chopped nuts over the cranberry sauce.
- Cut the puff pastry into strips, leaving the center circle with the Brie intact.
- Twist each strip of pastry and arrange them around the Brie, forming a wreath shape.
- Brush the pastry with the beaten egg.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and the Brie is melted and gooey.
- Garnish with fresh rosemary sprigs.
- Let cool slightly before serving. Serve warm with crackers or baguette slices.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the cranberry sauce.
- You can also add a drizzle of honey before baking for extra sweetness.
- If you don’t have fresh rosemary, use dried rosemary.
- This recipe is best served immediately, but leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator and reheated.
