These air fryer meatballs are incredibly juicy, perfectly cooked, and surprisingly easy to make. Ready in under 20 minutes, they’re a weeknight dinner hero or a great appetizer!
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound ground beef (80/20 blend recommended)
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (plain or Italian seasoned)
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 large egg, lightly beaten
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup milk or water
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine all ingredients. Gently mix until just combined. Do not overmix.
- Using a cookie scoop or your hands, form the mixture into approximately 1-inch meatballs.
- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Place the meatballs in the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring they are not overcrowded. You may need to cook in batches.
- Air fry for 12-15 minutes, or until the meatballs are cooked through and reach an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C). Flip halfway through for even cooking.
- Serve immediately with your favorite sauce, pasta, or as an appetizer.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add a tablespoon of chopped fresh parsley or basil to the meatball mixture.
- If using leaner ground beef, add a tablespoon of olive oil to the mixture to help keep the meatballs moist.
- To prevent sticking, you can lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray.
- Meatballs can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the air fryer or microwave.
