Description

These air fryer meatballs are incredibly juicy, perfectly cooked, and surprisingly easy to make. Ready in under 20 minutes, they’re a weeknight dinner hero or a great appetizer!


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef (80/20 blend recommended)
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (plain or Italian seasoned)
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 large egg, lightly beaten
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup milk or water

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine all ingredients. Gently mix until just combined. Do not overmix.
  2. Using a cookie scoop or your hands, form the mixture into approximately 1-inch meatballs.
  3. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  4. Place the meatballs in the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring they are not overcrowded. You may need to cook in batches.
  5. Air fry for 12-15 minutes, or until the meatballs are cooked through and reach an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C). Flip halfway through for even cooking.
  6. Serve immediately with your favorite sauce, pasta, or as an appetizer.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add a tablespoon of chopped fresh parsley or basil to the meatball mixture.
  • If using leaner ground beef, add a tablespoon of olive oil to the mixture to help keep the meatballs moist.
  • To prevent sticking, you can lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray.
  • Meatballs can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the air fryer or microwave.
