Ingredients
Scale
- 1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice, freshly squeezed
- 2 tablespoons lemon pepper seasoning
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- Lemon wedges, for serving (optional)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the chicken cubes, olive oil, lemon juice, lemon pepper seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well to ensure the chicken is evenly coated.
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Place the chicken in a single layer in the air fryer basket, ensuring not to overcrowd. You may need to cook in batches.
- Air fry for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through, or until the chicken is cooked through and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Remove the chicken from the air fryer and let it rest for a minute or two before serving.
- Serve immediately with lemon wedges, if desired.
Notes
- For extra crispy chicken, lightly spray the chicken with cooking oil spray before air frying.
- If you don’t have lemon pepper seasoning, you can make your own by combining lemon zest, black pepper, and a pinch of salt.
- Adjust the cooking time depending on the size of your chicken cubes and the model of your air fryer.
- Serve with your favorite sides, such as rice, roasted vegetables, or a salad.
