Description

These Air Fryer BBQ Chicken Drumsticks are incredibly easy to make! Crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and smothered in your favorite BBQ sauce, they’re perfect for a quick weeknight dinner or a fun weekend cookout.

  • 68 chicken drumsticks (about 2 pounds)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup BBQ sauce (your favorite brand)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, toss the chicken drumsticks with olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
  3. Place the drumsticks in the air fryer basket in a single layer, making sure they are not overcrowded. You may need to cook them in batches.
  4. Air fry for 20 minutes, then flip the drumsticks and cook for another 15-20 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  5. During the last 5 minutes of cooking, brush the drumsticks with BBQ sauce. Flip and brush again to ensure they are evenly coated.
  6. Remove from the air fryer and let rest for a few minutes before serving.

  • For extra crispy skin, pat the drumsticks dry with paper towels before seasoning.
  • Adjust cooking time depending on the size of your drumsticks and your air fryer model.
